Cart (and Shared Cart) as a Personalization Context
With the 25A release, Commerce unveils an exciting new feature that allows Merchants to tailor any part of the Commerce experience, including the checkout flow, based on the contents of the Shoppers' cart.
This feature provides the opportunity to engage with the buyer, engage with strategies to increase conversion, or offer escalation to an assisted channel where appropriate.
- Enables real-time personalization based on cart attributes.
- Supports dynamic promotional content, guided support, and personalized experiences.
Steps to Enable
To create personalized promotion content using cart-based audience segmentation:
- Create an audience based on Cart Category.
- Select the desired cart attribute, operator, and value.
- Define the audience rule.
- Navigate to the Design tab and associate the audience with a content variation slot to deliver personalized promotion content.
