Send Summay Emails from Routines

You can now consolidate the number of emails sent to recipients during routine processing by using the Summary Email option. This option allows you to enter a summary message, select up to 5 fields to be displayed in a table at the end of the email which will be automatically sent to the recipients listed for the summary email. Routines will list a maximum of 50 rows per email and automatically inserts a link of the record identifier at the beginning of each table row.

This feature reduces the number of emails sent to a recipient during a routine run by condensing them into a summary email.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

The main body of the email is a summary message and can't contain attributes from a single record. Choose up to 5 attributes to list in a table. A record identifier is automatically displayed at the beginning of each row and will have a link, so you don't have to include it as one of the 5 selected attributes..

A link is not provided to child objects in either single or summary emails.
