Redwood User Interface for Subscription Management - Subscription & Coverage Products
As an initial implementation, Redwood UI for Subscription Management introduces a streamlined interface that simplifies creating and managing subscription records. This redesigned experience reduces complexity, enabling more efficient handling of subscription tasks.
The new UI incorporates and rectifies selected user feedback from the previous classic version, enhancing overall usability in this initial phase.
- Advanced Elastic-Based Search Capabilities: Users benefit from personalized saved searches, allowing them to save their search preferences for quick access. Additionally, grouping and advanced search features enable more precise and efficient data retrieval, improving overall productivity.
- Pricing Data Visibility: A new, detailed pricing view offers easy access to pricing data with fewer clicks, reducing errors and simplifying reviews.
- Improved Attachments Handling: Drag-and-drop attachments, including support for multiple file uploads, for a more seamless and efficient file management experience.
- Flexible Extensibility options: Empowers administrators to tailor page layouts, add custom fields, and configure workflows based on business needs.
- Foundation for Future Enhancements: Establishes a robust base that will support additional user-driven improvements in subsequent phases.
Steps to Enable
Navigator menu to Redwood UI is not available by default (this will be made available in the subsequent releases). Users will have have to create custom menu for the application to be displayed in the UI.
Steps to create a custom menu entry:
- Create and enter sandbox using Manage Sandboxes in the user menu
- Go to Navigator > Tools > Structure
- Click on Create Page Entry and provide below details:
- Provide Name for name page entry.
- Choose Icon
- Select Group as Subscription Management
- Choose Yes for Show on Navigator and Show on Springboard
- Choose Link Type as VB Studio Page
- Set focus view id as /index.html
- Choose Web Application as ORA_FSCM_UI
- Set Application Stripe as CRM
- Set VB Studio Flow as /application
- Set Product Family as CRM
- Set VB App UI as cx-subscriptions
- Set VB Page Name as container/subscriptions/subscriptions-list
- Click on Save and Close.
- Test the changes. A new entry will be seen under Subscription Management Navigator Menu.
- Publish the sandbox.
Tips And Considerations
Initial Release Scope: Please note that this release represents the first iteration of the Redwood User Interface for Subscription Management. While significant improvements have been made in the design and functionality, not all features and workflows have been fully streamlined in this phase.
Future Enhancements: Subsequent updates will focus on further optimizing the user experience, including reducing the number of clicks required to perform common tasks and refining existing workflows based on user feedback.
