Redwood Designer Enhancements

Oracle CPQ 25B introduces several enhancements for the Redwood Designer to simplify design and tailor the appearance of the Redwood Quote UI. The new Custom Grid Layout orientation allows administrators to dynamically rearrange and resize sections within a Redwood view. Oracle CPQ 25B also provides new backgrounds and borders to further customize the style of Redwood views.

When a view Orientation is set to Custom Grid Layout in Design mode, administrators can now drag-and-drop sections with a view.

Administrators can also use the resize function to change the width and/or length of a section.

The new Border style allows administrators to apply simple Line or Box Shadow borders for sections within the applicable view.

Administrators can also apply Inherit Background to individual view sections. This will apply a complementary color from the selected Theme.

Additionally, administrators can apply textures to individual view sections. Textures can be applied to sections with or without backgrounds.

A grid-based layout in Redwood Quote Designer gives administrators the flexibility to design and configure quote pages with drag-and-drop ease, allowing them to create tailored experiences for sales users. With the ability to rearrange, resize, and organize sections, administrators can optimize workflows, ensuring that critical information is easily accessible. This reduces customization overhead, enhances user adoption, and provides a scalable framework to adapt to evolving business needs—all while maintaining a consistent and efficient quoting experience.
