Access global actions from search bar in sales dashboard

You can access actions such as Create Account, Create Contact, and so on from the global search bar on the Oracle Sales Dashboard. This allows you to quickly invoke global actions directly from the dashboard without additional navigation into an object’s list page.

This feature improves the user experience and enhances performance by reducing the number of clicks to quickly navigate to screens and perform tasks.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

The Create global actions are available by default on the Sales Dashboard for predefined objects such as Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities and Leads. For custom objects, you can either run the Extension Generator process to generate the Create global actions or you can create them manually from the Global Actions administration page.

Access Requirements

Users having the Create privileges will be able to view and access these global actions.
