These features provide flexible pricing models for high-volume usage scenarios. By enabling Summarized Rating in the entitlement plan, you can now model aggregated or tier-based consumption use cases with simple configurations. It also supports automatic aggregation of usage charges based on rules, along with reporting for high volumes of usage data. Volume Pricing offers granular and more advanced control over volume aggregation and pricing.

Summarized Rating:

You can now enable Summarized Rating at the entitlement plan level to model and process aggregated or tier-based consumption use cases.

Key Points:

Automatically aggregates usage and rates usage charges based on the configured pricing model.
Optionally, you can configure allowances, estimates, and commitments alongside Summarized Rating.
Enables efficient modelling of aggregated or tier-based consumption use cases through simplified configurations.

Volume Pricing:

When Summarized Rating is enabled, you can further configure Volume Pricing directly within the entitlement plan. Volume Pricing provides a more granular and advanced level of control over volume aggregation and pricing, allowing you to define flexible and advanced pricing models tailored to high-volume usage scenarios.
