Preview Amendment and Close API

You can now simulate a close or amendment of a subscription to view the impact on billing. This is by done by using the Amend action in the Preview REST API to simulate changes to a subscription and view their impact on billing and Total Contract Value (TCV).

With this action, you can:

  • Pass Product-level attributes that you wish to amend.
  • Amend the product itself by providing a new product in the API.
  • Choose to:
    • Copy existing charges,
    • Define new charges, or
    • Fetch the latest pricing from the Fusion Pricing application.
  • If you're using rate plans for usage-based charges, you can also pass the rate plan ID to apply it to the amended product.
