Redwood Administration Preview

Oracle CPQ 25D introduces a new Redwood-style Administration User Experience (UX) for CPQ administrators and implementors. The Oracle CPQ Redwood Administration supports existing functionality and provides additional usability, such as:

  • Improved navigation for quick access to frequently used admin tasks.
  • Comprehensive and consolidated view of all relevant information.
  • Simplified and modernized design to enhance user satisfaction and reduce training time.

Oracle 25D gives you the opportunity to preview the new redesigned interfaces. Admins can begin using it to perform your work tasks to see its benefits for yourselves and provide us feedback on it. The application allows users to switch back and forth between the Classic and Redwood experience during this preview release.

The Redwood Admin Home page is the gateway to the Redwood-style administration modules, either directly, or through a navigation path that originates on the Admin Home Page.

Steps to Enable

Upon upgrade to Oracle CPQ 25D, the Admin Home page continues to display the traditional Classic Admin UI by default. Click Try Redwood (Preview) to experience the new design. You can explore the UIs, work through your tasks, and begin your transition to the redesigned interface. If at any point you’d like to revert to the Classic experience just navigate back to the Admin Home Page and click Switch to Classic.

Note: As you navigate through the Redwood experience, Classic UI pages may display. We are committed to improving our product and going forward, future updates will incorporate new Redwood-style pages with usability enhancements.
