Usability improvements for LinkedIn Integration

Automated association of LinkedIn interactions with account, opportunity or lead.

Sales users can now view LinkedIn interactions, including InMail messages, direct messages, and connection requests, directly within the context of their accounts, opportunities, or leads. Sales administrators have the option to enable automated association of LinkedIn interactions with the primary account linked to the engaged contact. Automated association with relevant opportunities and leads can also be activated. The system intelligently matches LinkedIn activities to open opportunities or leads based on details such as the seller and contact involved in the interaction.

New smart actions are now available, making it easier to directly access relevant LinkedIn information:

  1. Search People on LinkedIn from Account: Quickly find people associated with account.
  2. Search People on LinkedIn from Opportunity: Quickly find people associated with opportunity account.
  3. Show Related Leads from Lead: View leads on LinkedIn that are connected to the selected lead.
  4. Show Related Leads from Contact: Access LinkedIn leads that are associated with the contact.

Sales users can now view all LinkedIn interactions within the activity feed when working on accounts, opportunities, or leads. This enhancement provides sellers with a comprehensive view of all engagement, including LinkedIn activities, in the context of each account, opportunity, or lead. Newly introduced smart actions also enable quick and easy access to relevant LinkedIn information, helping sellers to better understand and engage with their prospects and customers.

Steps to enable and configure

Create new profile option and enable features using the new profile option:

  • ZCA_ASSOCIATE_LI_INTERACTION_TO_ACCOUNT - automatically associating LinkedIn Interaction with primary account of contact interacted with
  • ZCA_ASSOCIATE_LI_INTERACTION_TO_OPTY_LEAD - automatically associating LinkedIn Interaction with open opportunity or lead matching interaction details

Enable new smart actions using application composer

  1. Account > Search People on LinkedIn
  2. Opportunity > Search People on LinkedIn
  3. Lead > Show Related Leads
  4. Contact > Show Related Leads
