Standard ABO: Commerce Action Co-Term

Oracle 26B introduces the new "Co-Term" Standard Process document action type. The Co-Term Action allows you to align the contract end dates of line items within a quote with the customer's existing active subscription.

Note: The Co-Term action type is only available when Standard ABO is enabled.

The Co-Term action provides the following benefits:

  • Simplifies contract management by aligning multiple subscriptions to a single contract end date.
  • Improves renewal predictability with a unified view of upcoming expirations.
  • Enhances customer experience by providing grouping visualization based on various asset attributes.

Steps to enable and configure

Refer to the following procedures to create and enable a Co-Term type action.

  1. Enable Standard ABO. Refer to the Steps to Enable for Access to Standard Asset-Based Ordering.
  2. Add the Co-Term action to the transaction/quote layout using the Redwood Quote UI. Refer to Commerce > Transactions | Quotes > Redwood > Quote Designer > Redwood Quote Actions in the Oracle CPQ Administration Online Help.
