Effectively Use Trading Partner Item Links With Improved Support for Publication, Audit, and OTBI Reporting
You can now publish, audit, and report the links between the manufacturer part number relationships and supplier item relationships for an item.

This feature benefits your business by allowing your system to effectively communicate with internal and external downstream systems of any links between manufacturer part number and vendor or supplier part number relationships. In addition, the digital relationship link allows intelligent defaulting of linked part numbers in other applications.
Steps to Enable
Here are the steps to enable audit for manufacturer part number and supplier part number relationship linkages:
- Navigate to the Manage Audit Policies task in the Setup and Maintenance work area and click Configure Business Object Attributes.

The Configure Business Object Attributes page is displayed.
- In Product, select Product Hub.
- In Objects, select Manufacturer Item Relationship > Linked Supplier Item Relationships. Click the Create icon on the right and add Supplier Name and Primary Linkage as audited attributes for linked supplier item relationships.

- Select Supplier Item Relationship > Linked MPN Relationships. Click the Create icon on the right and add Manufacturer Name and Primary Linkage as audited attributes for linked MPN relationships.

- Click Save.
Tips And Considerations
You can also report the descriptive flexfield attributes for manufacturer part number and supplier item number relationships in an OTBI analysis.

- Manage Item (EGP_MANAGE_ITEM_PRIV)
- Manage Item Relationship (EGP_MANAGE_ITEM_RELATIONSHIP_PRIV)
- Manage Product Audit Trail Reports (EGI_MANAGE_PROD_AUDIT_REPORTS_PRIV)
