Create Pick Waves Using a Redwood Page
Warehouses and stockrooms performing outbound fulfillment generally create their picks at regular intervals by using the Schedule Pick Wave process. However, certain situations arise that might require you to create picks outside of your normal schedule. For instance, an emergency order comes in for a high-priority customer, or you just received backordered stock and need to fulfill open orders immediately. In these instances, the Create Pick Wave page provides you the ability to manually specify the criteria you want to use for creating picks to fulfill outbound orders. Now you can create these pick waves using a Redwood page.
You can access the New Pick Wave page from the Inventory Management work area. The task is available from the Shipments and Picks categories. Alternatively, you can navigate to the page by selecting the task from the quick actions.
