Perform Mass Updates on Item Transaction Defaults for Items Without Item Subinventories

You can now perform mass updates on item transaction defaults for a disrupted item even in cases where the item has no item subinventory associations. Prior to this release, mass updates on item transaction defaults were possible only when the disrupted item had item subinventory associations.

When the disrupted item has item transaction defaults defined without the item subinventory associations, the guided process Manage Item Replacement in Inventory Entities automatically skips the steps pertaining to mass updates of item subinventories and item locators and directly takes you through these steps:

  1. Select mass replacement option for item transaction defaults
  1. Define item transaction defaults

Guided Process Overview

After mass replacement is completed on the item transaction defaults, the status of the replacement task in the respective inventory organization is updated to Replaced.

With the flexibility of performing item replacement on item transaction defaults entity without item subinventories and item locators, you can perform mass updates on item transaction defaults even if the item subinventories are maintained in partner applications like RF-SMART. Any manual effort to administer item transaction defaults to switch the replenishment from the disrupted item to the replacement item is eliminated.
