One of your ideas has been delivered from your suggestion.Enhanced Highlighting in Gantt Chart

This enhancement enables users to easily identify specific work order operations through enhanced Gantt highlighting. Examples include work order operations pegged to material shortages, those offloaded to alternate resources, or those belonging to work orders in released status.

Previously, you could highlight operations in the Gantt chart that belonged to firm work orders or late work orders. With this update, you can now also highlight work order operations with these properties:

  • Fixed start time: Work order operations with firm status set to fixed start time.
  • Offloaded to alternate resource: Work order operations that were offloaded from the primary resource and are now scheduled on an alternate resource.
  • Offloading allowed: Work order operations that can be offloaded.
  • Pegged to shortage: Work order operations that are pegged to a shortage amount of a component item.
  • Released: Work order operations that belong to released work orders.

Additional Highlight Options are now Available in the Gantt Chart.

You can use the various highlight capabilities in conjunction with other schedule analysis features to better understand the production schedule. For example, the user highlights all work order operations in the Gantt chart that are pegged to an inventory shortage amount. User then activates the Filter By Gantt Chart Selection mode, and selects an operation to see which specific items with shortage are pegged to that operation.
