Redwood: Manage ABC Classes, Classification Sets, and Assignment Groups Using a Redwood Page

Collectively, ABC classes, ABC classification sets, and ABC assignment groups are how you assign and group items within your organization for use in cycle counts. Specifically, you define the ABC classes you'll use to group items in the ranked order of their estimated importance, then define the scope and criteria you'll use to actually rank the items using an ABC classification set, and finally assign the ranked items into their ABC class using an ABC assignment group. Now you can manage your ABC classes, classification sets, and assignment groups using a Redwood page.

You can access the Inventory ABC Analysis task from the Setup and Maintenance work area.

Using the new Inventory ABC Analysis page, you can:

• View, create, update, and delete ABC classes
• View, create, and purge ABC classification sets
• View, create, update, resubmit, and purge ABC assignment groups

Inventory ABC Analysis

You can now perform mass updates to your ABC assignment group items using a file upload process directly from the Inventory ABC Analysis task. From the ABC Assignment Groups tab, select the assignment group you want to update, and then select the Update ABC Assignments action. From the ABC Assignment Group Items page, select the items you want to update and click the Update button to access the file download and upload functions.

This feature provides you the ability to manage the setup of ABC classes, classification sets, and assignment groups with an improved user experience.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
