Selected Product Management Bug Fixes in This Update
This update includes some bug fixes that can change the way Oracle Management works. This isn't a full list of all the bug fixes in this update. This list includes the bug fixes that can cause a noticeable change in application behavior.
Product Lifecycle Management Bug Fixes
Add Roles as Participants on Change Types
When you add a role as a participant to a change request in the additional workflow controls table, the application checked for the manage change order privilege instead of the manage change request privilege assigned to the role. The error message conveyed that the manage change order privilege was missing. A similar issue occurred on problem report and corrective action change types.
With this update, the issue has been fixed. The application now verifies that the correct functional privilege is assigned based on the specific change type. Additionally, the error message indicates the role that is missing the privilege to manage the relevant change type.
For example, when you add a role on the change request change type, the application verifies that the manage change request privilege is assigned.
