Redwood: Service Logistics Landing Page Enhancements

The enhanced Service Logistics landing page includes additional KPIs for the Field Service Technician and Depot Manager roles.
Field Service Technician Additional KPIs

  • Estimates in progress: Displays the total number of estimates in progress that do not have a status of Approved or Cancelled. Click an Estimate Number to view an estimate's Details page.
  • Work Orders Ready to Post: Displays the total number of work orders assigned to you, including service work orders and third-party work orders, which are not yet posted. Each work order is also listed individually, and you can click each work order Document Number to navigate to the work order charges Details page for review and further actions. Click View By to filter the work orders ready to post by Work Order Area.

Depot Manager Additional KPIs

  • Estimates in progress: Displays the total number of estimates in progress for return material authorizations (RMAs), service requests, third party service requests or no document estimates, that do not have a status of Approved or Cancelled. Click an Estimate Number to view an estimate's Details page.
  • Depot Repairs in progress: Displays the total number of RMAs that do not have associated debriefs in Posted status. Click an RMA LIne Number to view the depot repair details. Click View By to filter the depot repairs in progress by Inventory Organization. 

If you have both the Field Service Technician and Depot Manager roles assigned to you, then a consolidated view of KPIs displays on the landing page.

Service Logistics Landing Page - Estimates in Progress KPI

The new landing page enables you to quickly find issues that need your attention.

For example, as a depot manager, when you open the landing page for your inventory organization, you can quickly find repair orders which need attention, view their details, and act. You can also find estimates which are not yet approved, update them as needed, and submit them for approval.

Steps to Enable

Set the new profile option ORA_RCL_LANDING_PAGE_REDWOOD_ENABLED to Yes.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can access this feature:

  • Access Estimates in Progress KPI for Depot Manager (RCL_ESTIMATES_SUMMARY_DEPOT_KPI_PRIV)
  • Access Estimates in Progress KPI for Field Service Technician (RCL_ESTIMATES_SUMMARY_TECH_KPI_PRIV)
  • Access Work Orders Ready to Post KPI for Field Service Technician (RCL_WORK_ORDER_CHARGES_STATUS_FSTECH_PRIV)
  • Access Depot Repair KPI for Depot Manager (RCL_RMA_DEPOT_KPI_PRIV)

These privileges are new in this update.
