Redwood: Use Redwood-Style FYI Notifications in Product Replacement
Send workflow notifications in the Redwood style and format to alert users about the initiation of mass replacement of items due to supply disruption.
After the alternate item or supplier is confirmed for a replacement task, mass replacement of items is initiated on the unfulfilled purchase orders and notifications are sent to the stakeholders such as planners, par counters, or requesters based on user-configured business rules. These notifications inform them about the replacement in effect and guide them to update the min-max or par replenishment attributes for the disrupted item and the replacement source. These updates ensure that a new replenishment request doesn't get created for the disrupted item during the replacement period. With this update, you can use a Redwood template to review the item replacement task details for both, email and work list notifications.
