Redwood: Manage Resource Requirements Using a New User Experience
You can now use the Redwood user experience to view the requirements on the resources in a plan, including the existing and planned orders that generated the requirement.
To access and use the Resource Requirements table from the Redwood Supply Chain Planning work area:
- Navigate to the More Actions (…) menu and select Plans.

- Enter the name of your plan in the search field at the top of the page, as highlighted in the following image.

- From the Action menu, select Open Plan.

- Click the Add (+) icon to add a page:

- The Pages drawer opens. From the Visualizations tab, search for and select Resource Requirements.

The Resource Requirements table opens.
- You can select which columns you want to appear in the table by doing the following:
- Click the Columns icon:

- Select your desired columns from the Columns drawer:

The columns you’ve selected now appear on the table.
- If you want to save this view, click the Action menu and select Save View. The Save view drawer opens, where you can name and save your view.

The Action menu list of values includes Save View, Restore View, and Delete View.
- You can also filter the results in the table in several ways.
- Click the Filters button on the toolbar, and select the desired attributes to filter by in the Filters drawer, such as Order Type:

The Filters panel includes the following filter groups:
- Resource
- Operation
- Order Attributes
- Quantity
- Item
- Date
- Supplier

- In addition to filter groups, you can use the filter chips on the toolbar to filter the attributes.

For example, you can click on the Resource filter chip and then select the resources to include in the Resource Requirements table:

Drill To and From Resource Requirements
The Resource Requirements page can be accessed from the following pages using the Drill To menu:
- Resource Plan
- Resources
- Resource Exception Summary
- Operations
- Supplies and Demands
You can drill to the following pages from the Resource Requirements:
- Resource Plan
- Resources
- Resource Exceptions
- Operations
- Supplies and Demands
Steps to Enable
There are no new profiles that need to be enabled to access the Resource Requirements page. However, access to this page is available only from the Redwood Supply Chain Planning work area, which needs to be enabled. For the steps to enable this work area, please refer to the What’s New documentation in the 25B release.
Tips And Considerations
If you want to use the Redwood: Manage Resource Requirements Using a New User Experience feature, then you must opt in to its parent feature: Order Backlog Management. If you’ve already opted in to this parent feature, then you don’t have to opt in again.
There’s a new REST Service for Resource Requirements.

Access Requirements
Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains these privileges can access this feature:
- Supply Chain Planner (ORA_MSC_SUPPLY_CHAIN_PLANNER_JOB)
- Materials Planner (ORA_MSC_MATERIALS_PLANNER_JOB)
These privileges were available prior to this update.
