Redwood: Review Purchase Order Change and Revision Histories
Review the change and revision histories of purchase orders from Redwood pages as a buyer or supplier.
Before this update, the purchase order document history was available under the Order History tab on the Redwood View Purchase Order page. With this update, you can use the View Order History action to open a drawer that displays information related to the document history, change history, and revision history of the purchase order. You can access the Order History drawer from either the Redwood Purchase Orders page or the View Purchase Order page, and you can navigate back to the original page when you close the drawer.

Click the View Order History action to open a drawer that displays these tabs:
- Document History: displays a sequential list of all actions taken on a specific purchase order.
- Change History: lists all submitted change orders and lets you review the associated changes.
- Revision History: lists all change orders that resulted in a new revision of the document.

You can perform these actions from the Change History and Revision History tabs.
- View Change Details: review the modifications made in the selected version of the change order.
- Compare to Original: compare the selected change order version with the original version of the purchase order.
- Communicate: communicate the purchase order changes to supplier.
- View PDF: download the purchase order changes in PDF format.
To perform an action, select the record and click the action.

Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
- You can access the Order history drawer as either a supplier or buyer. As a supplier, you can view only external change orders in the Document History and Change History tabs..
- Procurement requesters will continue to have access only to the Document history drawer.

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this privilege can access this feature:
- View Purchase Order (PO_VIEW_PURCHASE_ORDER_PRIV)
