Redwood: Require Buyers to Review Requester Change Orders

Accept, reject, or modify requester-initiated changes as a buyer before sending those changes out to the supplier using a Redwood page.

When the feature is enabled, any changes proposed by requesters will be automatically created as internal change orders. This applies even if the proposed changes include supplier-facing attributes that would create a revision to the purchase order document. After the internal change order is approved, the buyer will receive a notification and will be required to take action on the requester-initiated change. The Pending Buyer Action status on the requester change order indicates that the buyer must review the proposed changes and either modify them, accept them as they are, or reject them.

When the buyer decides to either modify the proposed changes or accept them as they are, a buyer-initiated change order is created and either submitted for approval or left in an incomplete status for buyers to make further edits.

As a buyer, you can review the requester-initiated change by clicking the View change order link on the banner on the View Purchase Order page or by clicking the change order number link on the new Purchase Orders Page.
