Redwood: Add Lines to Existing Transfer Orders Using a Redwood Page
Use Oracle Supply Chain Orchestration's new Add Supply Request Line page when you need to add a new line to an existing transfer order in Oracle Inventory Management.
Realize this benefit:
- Work more efficiently. You can now add new lines to an existing transfer order without having to create a new transfer order.
Before update 25D, you couldn't add a new line to an existing transfer order from the Transfer Order page in Inventory Management. Now you can:
- Add new items. Maybe you forgot to add them when you created the transfer order.
- Add a new line that has the same item but with a different requested delivery date. You can use the Copy action to copy the existing line on a transfer order.
Go to the Inventory Management work area, open your transfer order, then click Add Line:
That action opens the Add Supply Request Line page in Supply Chain Orchestration:
The new page sets the destination and source organizations from the transfer order's original line, by default. You can't modify them, but you can search and select the item that you want to add. You can select the Requested Delivery Date, Requested Quantity, Scheduled Ship Date, and then click Add to create a new line on the existing transfer order.
The My Supply Requests Line page in Supply Chain Orchestration displays the new line that you just added. You can click Add on that page to add another line, or click . . . > Duplicate to copy a line from this page:
Click Submit, then Supply Chain Orchestration adds your changes to the transfer order:
You can also copy a line on the transfer order, then add a new line that has the same item but set a different quantity and requested delivery date:
Modify the Quantity and Requested Delivery Date, then click Add:
Click Submit:
View the new line on the transfer order:
