Redwood: Translate Units of Measure in Multiple Languages Using a New User Experience

Use a new Redwood page to translate a unit of measure into all the languages that you have enabled. You can edit the automated output as needed to conform to your enterprise guidelines.

All units of measure have a new translate action, which opens a drawer allowing editing of all enabled languages.

Use the Redwood Translate Editor to display the translatable fields for all enabled languages for the selected unit of measure. The editor doesn't require the language preference to be set during translation, which saves time for end users responsible for translating this information.

Steps to Enable and Configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Access Requirements

Users who are assigned a configured job role that contains this privilege can access this feature:

• Manage Unit of Measure (INV_MANAGE_UNIT_OF_MEASURE_PRIV)

This privilege was available prior to this update. Additional privileges are available to support more restricted access to the tasks and pages.
