Use Direct Integrations Between Supply Chain Orchestration and Manufacturing
Use a direct integration between Oracle Supply Chain Orchestration and Oracle Manufacturing to improve performance. Use the integration to create and manage work orders in your manufacturing flows.
Realize these benefits:
- Improve performance and responsiveness. Use a direct integration to reduce latency and processing time when you create, update, or cancel a work order. Realize faster orchestration and improve your user experience.
- Get comprehensive notifications. This feature makes sure that Supply Chain Orchestration receives critical updates, status changes, and completion notifications for each work order directly from Manufacturing, and it helps to maintain end-to-end integrity in your workflow.
- Make Transactions more reliable. Strengthen how your implementation handles requests to create, update, or cancel a work order in your plan-to-produce flow and min-max make flow. Improve how you create a request to make supply when you receive that request from the New Supply Request page and the Supply Request REST API.
- Simplify integration. Remove dependency on using business events. Simplify maintenance and reduce integration overhead.
Supply Chain Orchestration can now receive notifications directly from Manufacturing through a direct integration any time Manufacturing creates, updates, or cancels a work order. You no longer have to use a business event to get these notifications. The result is improved performance, faster processing, and more reliable synchronization between Supply Chain Orchestration and Manufacturing.
