Create and manage pricing rounding rules
Use the redesigned Rounding Rules page to create and manage rounding rules in Pricing with the same underlying functionality as the existing classic Manage Rounding Rules page.
Get these benefits:
- Search for rounding rule by rounding rule name or description from a single search box.
- Refine the results with filters for type, active, setup enabled, or direction.
- Use row actions to view, duplicate, edit, or delete an existing rounding rule.
- Create a new rounding rule.
Search for a rule by name or description, and filter the list by Type, Active, Setup Enabled, or Direction. Review the rule's type, round-to value, direction, incremental value, and setup-enabled status directly from the list.
When you create a rounding rule, enter its name and description, select the type and direction, and set the Round To and Incremental Value fields as required. Use the Setup Enabled and Active options to control whether the rule can be assigned and used at runtime.
Navigation: In the Setup and Maintenance work area, open the Manage Rounding Rules task.
Start on the redesigned Rounding Rules page, where you can search for existing rounding rules, refine the results with filters, or select Create to create a new rounding rule:
Create rounding rule
When you select Create, the New rounding rule side panel opens. Here you can enter the rounding rule name, description, select the rounding rule type, enter the round to value, select the direction, and set the setup-enabled and active options as desired. You can optionally capture details under additional information. Select Create:

Enter new rounding rule details
A new rounding rule is created. View, edit, duplicate, or delete the rounding rules using the row actions available:
New rounding rule created

Rounding rule with the round-to-range rounding type
Provides a modern, consistent setup experience for maintaining rounding rules while preserving the established configuration options used to apply consistent rounding across pricing calculations.
Steps to enable and configure
Follow these steps to enable or disable this feature:
1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, search for and select the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
2. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for and select the ORA_QP_PRICING_ROUNDING_RULES_REDWOOD_ENABLED profile option code.
3. In the Profile Values section, set the Site level to Yes or No. The default value is No.
- Yes = enables the feature
- No = disables the feature
4. Select Save and Close. Changes in the profile value will affect users the next time they sign in.
Tips and considerations
- Standard direction rounds to the nearest value, Up to round values up, and Down to round values down.
- Setup Enabled makes a rule available for assignment. If it’s disabled, then the rule can remain available at runtime but can't be assigned to a currency
- Active makes the rounding rule available at runtime.
