OFS Release Process and Terminology Changes

As a part of aligning Oracle Field Service with all other Oracle Fusion applications, "Quarterly Release" has been renamed to the terminology used in Fusion applications "Quarterly Update". In the same manner, every mention of "Service Update" in the product has be replaced with "Weekly Maintenance Pack" as used by Fusion.

The quarterly Update period to schedule or re-schedule Quarterly Updates for Production and non-Test Preview environments has also been updated from 60 days to 77 days after General Availability date.

Consider reviewing the updated OFS Release Process (Doc ID 2925228.1), which will be valid from the 24A release onwards. Familiarizing yourself with these changes will help ensure a seamless transition and optimal understanding of our processes moving forward.
