Enhanced hover over tooltip on Service Requests opened in dynamic tabs in Classic SR UI

When Service Requests are opened as a dynamic tab in the Classic Service Request UI, the tooltip previously displayed only the SR number. To better assist you when working on multiple service requests at the same time, the application now displays more information when you hover over the SR dynamic tabs with the mouse.

Allows you to quickly identify the service request you are looking for when working on multiple service requests at the same time in the Classic UI.

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

Here are some considerations to keep in mind for this feature.

  • If the SR Title, or Severity, or Account has been updated on an open dynamic tab, the tooltip won't reflect these changes unless you save the changes, step away from the opened SR tab and then go back and hoover over it.
  • If you do a browser refresh, you will lose the tooltips on any opened dynamic tabs.
  • The tooltips are not updated if you update the service request from the landing page. The tooltips are shown based on the updates from the Edit Service Request Summary page.
  • The tooltips are not updated if you are updating the Service Requests through other different browsers and windows.
  • The tooltip will not be shown when you are on the current, opened dynamic tab.
