Open Articles from Knowledge Search in new tabs
The default behaviour on the Knowledge Base search panel is that clicking an article opens it in a new browser window.
With a custom configuration propoerty, this default behaviour can be changed to open these articles in new tabs instead of new browser windows. The option for opening of articles in new tabs can be done from all the OKCS side panel components like Search, Browse, Favorites, Subscriptions, Linked answers, Recommended Answers.
Business Value:
This allows agents to open and refer multiple answers at the same time if required instead of having to move across different windows, making it more efficient.
Steps to Enable
The below custom configuration must be set to Yes to enable this feature
Key: CUSTOM_CFG_OKCS_LINK_NEWTAB =Yes (for opening in new tab; No for default behaviour of opening in new window)
