Outbound SMS via Oracle Eloqua

This feature provides

  • Point - Point Integration with Eloqua - A configurator in BUI is available to provide the Eloqua credentials and activate the integration.
  • New Action - A new action called ‘Trigger SMS Message’ is available in Enhanced Business Rule to send the SMS body to Eloqua.
  • Standard Text - The body of the SMS should be added in a Standard Text, which support using variables.

Some highlights of the feature are

  • A new tile - A tile for Eloqua is available under Oracle Marketing Configuration folder for providing the Oracle Eloqua credentials.
  • Eloqua Configurator - Below are the credentials of Eloqua needed to active the integration.
    • Login URL: The login url of Eloqua
    • Username: The account in Eloqua instance
    • Password: The password of the account
    • IDCS URL: The Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) base URL
    • IDCS Client ID: The Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) Client ID for OAuth configuration
    • IDCS Client Secret: Oracle Identity Cloud Service (IDCS) Client Secret for OAuth configuration

  • New Action: The ‘Trigger SMS Message’ is available in EBR to send the SMS body to Eloqua.
  • The action is available in THEN and ELSE clause of the rule.
  • The new action will list all the Standard Text available for Rules and admin can choose the relevant Standard Text for the body of the SMS.

To enable this feature you need to log a Service Request (SR).

Tips And Considerations

  • The Oracle B2C Service site should be on 24D version or higher.
  • The feature will be available in non production sites on Aug 8th, 2025 and in production site on Aug 22nd, 2025.
