Asset Information Management for Service Users

Service users can now utilize Asset Information Management to find and review asset details in Redwood UI pages instead of classic UI. 

In 26D we've given service users the required privileges to access Asset Information Management, which provides a Redwood-enabled search and details page for installed-base assets. Users can now navigate to Supply Chain Execution > Asset Information Management and utilize the elastic search to find and drill-in to review customer assets. 

The Redwood installed-base asset search is easier to use, and provides more robust search capabilities, than the classic UI landing page for installed-base assets.

Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips and considerations

• Service Users access Asset Information Management search by navigating to Supply Chain Execution > Asset Information Management where they can search for customer assets
• Asset Information Management search navigates to the Supply Chain / Maintenance Asset Management Page. For customer assets, this page allows navigation to the asset details page in service via the "More Details" link
• The Asset Details page in service now contains a link to drill to the Supply Chain / Maintenance Asset Management Page for additional information.
• Note that when drilling from Service Asset Details to Supply Chain / Maintenance Asset Management and vice-versa, the link back to the calling page will NOT be displayed to avoid circular navigation
