The customer contact functionality has been enhanced to allow you to change the Customer Contact Type on a customer contact after it has been selected or saved, with specific support for switching between letter and non-letter types.

This enables you to easily correct mistakes or update the contact type as needed, reducing the need to create a new customer contact.
