Transaction Business Object Column on Request Type
Prior to this release, the Request Type maintenance object did not have a standard column for referencing the transactional Request business object to use when adding a corresponding request. The Request business object is referenced as a business object option which requires a Request Type business object for each request business object. This non-standard approach contributes to a proliferation of Request Type business objects. With more and more product solutions relying on request type or request functionality, it would be more useful to not create unnecessary Request Type business objects.
In this release, a standard transaction business object field has been added to the request type entity. The new field is optional with no impact on existing request type functionality. Additionally, a new generic business object (F1-RequestType) is provided for request type definitions that do not require additional parameters.
Reduces the need for defining a request type business object when defining a new request business object.
