Oracle REST Data Services

This release includes version 25 of Oracle REST Data Services.

Version 25 is the most recent version of Oracle REST Data Services.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

Customers upgrading to 25.10 will lose any saved Oracle Database Actions worksheets.

  • Before upgrading to 25.10, please backup worksheets and keep regular backups of them.
  • The worksheets created are dependent on the browser used (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, or Google Chrome) for the session at the time of saving the worksheet, and they will not be accessible from any other browser.
  • When using Chromium-based browsers (including Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, worksheets can be saved to your local device.
  • Clearing the browser cache is required. Note that local device history may be lost after clearing the browsers' cache.
  • In case "Oracle Database Actions" is not displayed correctly after the upgrade, please try pressing "Ctrl + F5", or clear the browser's cache.

NOTE: Not all Oracle REST Data Services features are available with Oracle Utilities cloud services.

Refer to Oracle REST Data Services in the Oracle Utilities Cloud Services Implementation Guide for more information about the Oracle REST Data Services features supported in Oracle Utilities cloud services.

Note: After upgrading to 25.10, the existing URL to access Oracle Database Actions will be changed. If the old URL is used, it will automatically forwarded to the new URL.

Known Issue:

When executing a performance report, copy the content using the right-click menu. Copying the HTML text from the "eyeball" icon will not correctly format the report.
