Cross Installed Meters Correction Improvement
In a previous release, a new process flow was provided to make it easier for you to handle incorrectly deployed cross installed meters. The process flow for correcting cross installed meters has been improved so you can now select one or more historical bill periods to correct. This lets you make corrections only for the bill periods you choose, instead of all bill periods at once. You can then cancel/rebill those bill segments or create adjustments for the resulting net differences.
The Cross Installed Meter request type has also been enhanced to include an Allow Non-Consecutive Periods configuration option. This allows you to define whether consecutive or non-consecutive bill segments may be selected for your implementation.
Additionally, the details displayed on the Correct Bill Segments panel, on a Cross Installed Meter process flow, have been improved to include more information about impacted bill segments such as start date, end date, and the bill segment's information string.
This makes it easier for you to quickly resolve billing issues and customer complaints, helping you provide better customer service.
