Reusing Billing Quantities When Cancelling/Rebilling Bill Segments
You now have the option to reuse existing billing quantities when cancelling an existing bill segment and creating a corresponding new bill segment. The Use Old Read/Item/SQ checkbox on the following windows enables you to decide whether to create new billing quantities or reuse existing billing quantities for the new bill segment:
- Pop-up window when adding or updating a Billing Correction
- Pop-up window initiated from Cancel/Rebill/Freeze button on the Bill - Bill Segments tab page
- Pop-up window initiated from Rebill button on the Bill Segments - Main tab page
- Pop-up window initiated from Cancel/Rebill/Freeze button on the Multi-Cancel Rebill - Main tab page
This prevents the calculation and creation of duplicate and redundant billing quantities.
Steps to Enable and Configure
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
