Utility Data Available in the Sales Dashboard

You can now leverage enhanced utility-specific insights within the Sales Dashboard, which is part of the Oracle Fusion Redwood Sales system. These insights streamline account management and improve customer engagement. The insights are tailored to the unique needs of Key Account Managers in the utility industry, providing the critical data necessary to make informed decisions. The new utility-specific insights include: 

  • Upcoming Renewals: These insights help you quickly identify contracts that are expiring soon. You can use this data to proactively reach out to customers to secure renewals and prevent churn.
  • Top Overdue Accounts: These insights help you prioritize accounts with overdue balances, which can help you support collections efforts and mitigate financial risk. 

Adding utility-specific insights to the Sales Dashboard provides Key Account Managers with critical data that enables them to proactively manage customer relationships and prioritize high-impact activities. By consolidating these insights in one place, Key Account Managers can optimize their time, reduce financial risk and improve customer retention. 

Steps to Enable

To enable this feature, complete these steps:

For the Upcoming Renewals panel to function properly, the filter named RENEW must be configured using these steps:

  1. Log into Oracle Sales as an administrator.
  2. From the menu, select My Enterprise Section and then select Setup and Maintenance.
  3. In the Search field, enter and then select configure adaptive search.
  4. On the Configure Adaptive Search screen, click Setup.
  5. Click on Advanced.
  6. Search for the Opportunity object.
  7. In the Fields section, search for Opportunity Type.
  8. Enable the Opportunity Type field and then select Full Publish.
