New Batch Analytics Dashboard
The new Batch Analytics Dashboard contains three keys areas for analytics in this release:
- Batch Job Analytics: A set of metrics highlighting performance and state of a selected batch process over a period. This will aid in determining the overall state of processing over a specified period.
- Batch Thread Analytics: A set of analysis for a specified batch control at the thread level highlighting performance and reliability with particular attention to identification of data skew and zero thread processing.
- Batch Workload Analytics: A set of analysis at the workload level highlighting workload at a threadpool level to help highlight inefficiencies in workloads. Customers can use these analysis to determine their load profiles to balance their workloads.
The Batch Analytics Dashboard enables customers to understand their batch workloads at a strategic level, complementing the existing Batch Day Dashboard and Batch Run Portals. The analytics highlight key metrics to help customers optimize their batch workloads.
Steps to Enable
Provide the required access before using the feature. Details are in the Access #Requirements section.
To enable this feature, complete these steps:
- Navigate to Admin > General > Feature Configuration.
- Search for a feature configuration entry for the Custom Look and Feel feature type. If one does not exist, use the add action to add a feature configuration of this type.
- Edit the record and add an entry in the options collection for the Option Type UI View. Populate the value as "Compact".
Tips And Considerations
Note that it is common practice that new application services are delivered with the ALL_SERVICES user group. However, F1BADASH and F1BAJOB were inadvertently not included.
