Preventive Maintenance Process Flows
The Preventive Maintenance Process Flows simplifies the creation and updating of prerequisite data by guiding users through a series of panels. You can efficiently enter information related to asset types, maintenance schedules, specifications, triggers, template work orders, and activities. This streamlined approach enhances the user experience and ensures that all necessary preventive maintenance data is captured and properly linked.
There are two separate process flows for managing asset maintenance:
- Maintenance Specification Process Flow - This process flow enables you to:
- Create a new asset type or select an existing one
- Create maintenance schedules (in-service, out-of-service, or both)
- Create a maintenance specification
- Maintenance Trigger Process Flow - This process flow enables you to:
- Create a maintenance trigger
- Create a new template work order and activity, or select existing ones
- If you opt to create a new template work order and activity, the process flow also allows you to add resources, such as materials, labor, equipment, and miscellaneous items to the new template activity.
This simplifies the creation and updating of prerequisite data by guiding you through a series of panels to enter information for asset types, maintenance schedules, specifications, triggers, template work orders, and activities. This streamlined approach enhances the user experience and ensures that all required data is captured and properly linked.
