Asset Search Results - Support Work Creation for Multiple Assets

Previously, creating a work order or work activity for multiple assets required navigating through multiple pages (for example, Work Order Maintenance and Work Activity Maintenance), and manually adding each asset to the asset list of the work activity or creating individual work activities for each asset. This process was time-consuming and inefficient. In this release, the Work Creation Using Asset Search sub-menu under the Work Management menu simplifies the process by allowing users to search for assets and directly create work orders or work activities for the selected assets from the search results.

Key Features:

• Create Work Order: Create a work order and either create a single activity for all selected assets or a separate activity for each asset.
• Add Activity to Existing Work Order: Create new work activities for an existing work order.
• Create Work Order from Template: Leverage Template Work Orders and Template Activities to create work orders and activities quickly.
• Update Existing Activity: Add selected assets from the search results to the asset list of an existing work activity.

This provides the ability to create work order or work activities for multiple assets selected from the Asset Search results.

Provide the required access before using the feature. Details are in the Access #Requirements section.

Access Requirements

System administrators should set/grant users/grant access to the Work Creation Using Asset Search Portal (W1WCUAQ) application service.
