Self-Service Integration OAuth Client Creation

External systems can securely interact with Oracle Utilities Cloud Service REST APIs using OAuth. Customers are advised to create OAuth clients for integration using Oracle Cloud Infrastucture console as the existing process to request Oracle Cloud Operations via a Service Request is no longer supported.

The self-service integration OAuth client management is providing customer with better control over integration configuration, allowing greater flexibility in the setup while reducing both implementation time and the operational burden. 

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

• The service request is no longer needed for the creation of the OAuth Client(s) for integration purposes.
• To configure this feature, refer to the Setting Up an Integration OAuth Client for REST/SOAP Web Services section in the Oracle Utilities Cloud Services Administration Guide for more information.
