Asset 360 - Asset Availability, Permits, and Default Tab Configuration

The Asset 360 page has been enhanced to include information about Asset Availability, MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), and Permits.

  • Asset Availability, MTBF, and MTTR information are insights added to the Asset zone. Asset Availability displays the percentage the asset has been operational (up and running) during the Inservice/Installed life of the asset. These metrics for Asset Availability, MTBF, and MTTR are calculated using both downtime and failure service history data. For these calculations, both the downtime and failure service histories must be linked to the same activity and the activity must be in either a Completed or Closed status.

Configuration is required to display the Asset Availability, MTBF, and MTTR information to the Asset zone.

  • All permits directly related to the asset and permits related to activities that involve the asset are now available in the History zone.

The Asset 360 tab is the default tab for the Asset portal once an asset is selected. You are given an option to opt out of the 360 default tab and make the Main tab the default on a system-wide basis or at the user-level.

You are able to view an enhanced Asset 360 page with features that include Asset Availability, MTBF, MTTR, and Permits. Additionally, you are able to customize your asset's default tab to be the 360 tab or the Main tab. This customization can be applied on a system-wide basis or at the user level.

Steps to Enable

To enable this feature, refer to the Asset 360 Configuration and Setting the Asset Portal Default Tab sections of the Administrative User Guide for more information.
