Productized Integration - Phase 1
Oracle Utilities supports inbound, to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Cloud Service, asset and location updates from the latest version of the ESRI geodatabase (ver. 11.3+) and the Utility Network model. The ESRI feature services are used to obtain the latest information on both assets and locations, intercept and transform the data in Oracle Integration Cloud, then generate the appropriate files in Object Storage for Work and Asset Management or Work and Asset Cloud Service to consume. The GIS File Upload Batch Control (W1GISUPL), along with a new application service, reads the input files and creates composite sync requests, then processes this information using batches to create and update the targeted assets and asset locations.
As part of the initial release, an Admin Sync was created to supply the integration with the necessary Geographic Information System to Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management Sync Mapping extendable lookup information.
This provides support for the latest ESRI software versions and data models, enhanced data consistency, and improved geospatial and asset management capabilities.
