Launch Fusion Knowledge Articles

You can launch a Fusion Knowledge article from various locations in the application. Only HTML content articles are supported, such as 'question and answer' or 'problem and solution'.

UI locations that support the launching of a knowledge article are defined using the 'Knowledge Management Articles' extendable lookup. To enable this feature, update the entry with a corresponding Fusion article ID. When an entry is active and associated with a article, the knowledge book icon appears on the UI location.

Clicking the book icon opens the article in a drawer, where you can also search for other articles as needed.

NOTE: This feature is only relevant when the application is integrated with Fusion. When applicable, update the context details for the following message senders that are referenced on the Fusion (F1FUSION) external system to reference the complete integration details:

  • F1-KMGET - Get Fusion Article
  • F1-KMSCH - Search Fusion Articles

Associating UI locations with supporting knowledge articles helps users complete their tasks.

Steps to enable and configure

To enable and configure this feature, complete these steps:

  1. Complete the integration configuration to Fusion for the message sender F1-KMGET - Get Fusion Article.
  2. Complete the integration configuration to Fusion for the message sender F1-KMSCH - Search Fusion Articles.
  3. Associate UI locations with Fusion articles: Update the 'Knowledge Management Articles' extendable lookup entries to reference corresponding Fusion articles.
