Additional OAuth Grant Types

The product now supports a JWT client assertion OAuth grant type, using a signed JSON Web Token to retrieve an access token from Oracle Identity Cloud Service.

In addition, the product supports a JWT user assertion OAuth grant type. This enables the use case where an online action in the application triggers an outbound message to another system and propagates the user identity and authenticates the user without requiring them to interactively sign in again.

Supporting these additional OAuth grant types increases both security and flexibility of outbound messages.
