Zero Amount Bill Calculation Line Exclusion for Component-Based Rating

For component-based rate calculations only, you can use the Zero Line Amount Option configuration setting in the Rate Engine Configuration master configuration to control whether bill calculation lines are created when a rate component calculation produces a zero amount.

This feature can streamline downstream processing by allowing zero-amount bill calculation lines to be excluded.

Steps to enable and configure

To enable and configure this feature, complete these steps:

1. Create a Rate Engine Configuration master configuration if one does not exist.
2. Configure the Zero Line Amount Option option to "Do Not Create".
