Refresh Environment Operational Request in Oracle Utilities Cloud Service Console

Refresh Environment operational requests are available through Oracle Utilities Cloud Service Console to supports copying all data from one environment to another. For example, a Refresh Environment operational request can be created to refresh a test environment with production or test data. This feature is available with Cloud Application Release 26.4 (July Maintenance Pack) or later.

Use Refresh Environment to copy data from one environment to another, such as refreshing a test environment with production or test data. This helps keep environments aligned for testing, training, validation, and ongoing operations.

Performing this function in the Cloud Service Console, instead of through the Service Request process that usually takes multiple days, can cut the time down from days to just hours, depending on the size of the source database.

Common use cases include:

  • Aligning lower environments with current data.
  • Supporting testing or training activities.
  • Resetting an environment to a known state.

Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
