Changes in Special User Creation During Provisioning

The K1IPROCESS user and PROCESS-AUTOMATION user-group in Oracle Identity Domain are no longer created automatically by the cloud service provisioning process. This user and user-group are used in the post-provisioning setup to enable the Process Automation functionality in your cloud service. You are now required to create you own user in Identity Domain and your own user-group for the post-provisioning setup for Process Automation.

This change will only affect newly provisioned customers. Existing customers can continue to use their K1IPROCESS user and PROCESS-AUTOMATION user-group.

The K1IPROC user, usually mapped to the K1IPROCESS user in Identity Domain, is still delivered with the system in the 26.4 release. Beginning in 26.10, it will no longer be included with the service. Starting from the 26.10 release, all customers with existing K1IPROC cloud service users will switch owners to a CM ownership and will remain under customer's control.

This change is required as part of security improvements to all our cloud services.

Steps to enable and configure

As part of post-provisioning setup, customers should now create their own user and user-group instead of K1IPROCESS and PROCESS-AUTOMATION, which were previously created automatically.
