External System Delivered as Base

The system now delivers a base external system called Cross Product External System (Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter), which is available to use for any product built on the Oracle Utilities Application Framework.

Previously, this external system was only available to a subset of implementations.

Making this external system available to all products using the Oracle Utilities Application Framework saves a step of needing to define an external system to use for basic cross-product integrations.

Steps to enable and configure

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips and considerations

Note that this external system was already available previously to any implementation whose product configuration included the "X1" Owner flag.
