Product Use Metrics Dashboard Zone Updates

The following Product Use Metrics dashboard zones now reference information in the Product Metric Snapshot object to display product use metrics:

• Billable Services by Service Type
• Billable Services by SA Type
• Billable Services by CIS Division

The Product Metric Snapshot object is populated with relevant information by algorithms configured on related Product Metric Type records.

In previous releases, these zones used information in the Statistics Control and Statistics Snapshot objects to display product use metrics.

These new objects allow product use metrics to be captured separately from the Statistics Control and Statistics Snapshot objects that also include statistics related to an implementation's business processes.

Steps to Enable

You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.

Tips And Considerations

For implementations that are already using the Product Use Metrics dashboard to display billable services information, use the Upgrade Billable Services Statistics (C1-UPBSP) batch control to create a Product Metric Snapshot record for each historical Statistic Snapshot record. In this way, all billable services product metric use information are captured in a single object.
