Prerequisites for Working with Analytics
Before you start working with analytics, you need to complete some general setup steps to ensure that your data shows correctly.
General System Requirements

Application Setup Requirements
To run analytics, your company information needs to be set up and defined. If this information isn't set up correctly, you might have problems getting your analytic data to present correctly.
- Entered the required company and corporate currency information. See the topic Enter Your Company Information and Corporate Currency.
- Set up your accounting calendar. See the topic: Create the Accounting Calendar.
- Set up your sales resource hierarchy. See the topic Example of a Sales Resource Hierarchy.

Role Requirements for Sales Pages
The sales pages aren't visible until administrators enable the Sales Pages in Set System Options. To view these pages all users need to have the following privileges: View Sales Homepage pagination dot one, View Sales Homepage pagination dot two, View Sales Homepage pagination dot three, View Sales Homepage pagination dot four, View Sales Homepage pagination dot five.
Currency Setup Requirements for Running Analytics
Your application supports a variety of currency types. Before you can run analytics that have currency values, you need to define what currency you want to use. If your analytic currency values return zero or not what you expect, check your currency preferences.
